Provincial government turns over

a newly covered court to JPNHS-PTA

A newly covered court at the JPNHS school campus was recently launched and turned over to the officials of the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA).

A project by the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte, the facility stands in front of the TVL-SHS building.

Worth Php1.5 million, it was completed in 2020 but because of the Covid-19 pandemic, was only turned over on January 20, 2021 to the PTA officers.

The project was proposed to the provincial government by the former PTA board of directors under Dr. Albert M Bardon.

Despite the many restrictions over health protocols, the project was finally built on a spot where the rice fields used to be.

It was proposed to rise next to the basketball court and the school’s amphitheater but the new principal, Lourdes B. Mesa, opted to have it beside the laboratory rooms of the SHS building for the use of the senior high school students once face-to-face classes are allowed.

Councilors Ma. Corazon G. Arenal, chairperson of the Committee on Education, and Jason J. Arriola, PTA officers headed by Punong Barangay Ma. Leda P. Aler, former PTA presidents, Dr. Albert M. Bardon, and Engr. Darwyn H. Morada, former PTA board of directors, selected parents, and the school personnel graced the event and blessing of the facility.

Rev. Fr. Joel C. Villania, the parish priest of the Most Holy Rosary Parish, officiated the blessing.
