MWBuzz, your news tunnel, is back!


THE need for information about almost everything has become a part of our daily lives. And we get such awareness from the newspaper, radio, TV, the internet, various online media platforms, and a lot more other sources for this free but vital commodity.

The right information has become more relevant, especially during calamities, fearsome health crises such as the Covid-19 pandemic, economic and social adversities and simmering political excitement now being felt in the country.

With all this in mind, we have opted to revive and relaunch MWBuzz, aka MambulaoansWorldwideBuzz, for the benefits of our kababayans in Mambulao and those overseas.

To recall, MWBuzz was active during those years from 2010 to 2014, reporting on the official activities of the local government of Mambulao under the watch of then-Mayor Dong Padilla and the on-goings in the municipality which had something to do with community development.

In short, MWBuzz had been in the consciousness of Mambulaons for a time, especially among the overseas-based, who were hungry for relevant news coming from their hometown.

And we were happy to deliver said information through MWBuzz. We came out every fortnight with an edition filled with reports that we knew had quenched the thirst and hunger of our Kababayans for news and information that we gathered from trusted sources, both from the local government and the public.

Today, we are going online again under the same but enhanced banner MWBuzz. We hope ardently to do much better with our news and information dissemination.

The iconic signage Turayog would soon rival Hollywood signage. Iconic, giant signage for  Turayog Place planned By ALFREDO P HERNANDEZ Turayog Place plans to install a giant signage “Turayog” to rival the giant icon “Hollywood” in Hollywood, California. The letters of the planned Turayog signage will stand 10 feet high and three feet wide. Painted white, it will be facing the panoramic Mambulao Bay. At that height, the Turayog signage would be very visible from the road going to Larap about two-and-half- kilometers away.  A new couple highlights their wedding day with a picturesque pose at the Turayog view deck .
